MasterChef is a one of the five very separate streams that we are running at this year's "Smörgåsbord"

Smörgås...what?...

Smörgåsbord's a Swedish term used to describe a banquet of very different dishes all served at the same table! The others streams are Tee Time (Golf), Project Catwalk (fashion/design) Petrolhead (go-karting), and Production Studio (photography and video). Because all five of these groups come together for meals, general fun and games, and sleeping, it means that you can still come along to camp with your mates... even if they want to sign-up to a different stream.

Inspired by the popularity of the BBC's The Great British Bake Off, Camp XL's MasterChef this year has a baking focus. We'll teach you all you need to know to make perfect pastry, fabulously light and moist sponges, and some truly mouth-watering desserts which we'll all savour at the final day's Smörgåsbord banquet.

You'll get to take home some new skills, plenty of top tips and tricks, and cup-cake recipes that are sure to wow your friends and family!
