We're visiting the lovely Alpine ski resort of Adelboden Switzerland.
With direct access to 170km of downhill skiing, and 70 individual pistes served by 55 lifts, it offers something for everyone. Although ideally suited to intermediate skiers (it boasts 50 'red' runs), it still caters well for the expert and the novice. And, with skiing above 2,000 metres and predominantly north-facing slopes, snow cover is generally reliable even this late in the season.
Sleeping accommodation is in a well-equipped chalet down in the village. There's a table tennis table as well as table football, and a heated dryer to warm up your ski boots ready for the next day!
The bedrooms are really comfortable and sleep between 4-8 each in 'proper' full sized beds.
