In addition to volunteering, there are two other ways in which you can support the work of Camp XL
Becoming a member of Camp XL is a great way to support the work!
We'll make sure you stay informed of developments, and ask you to partner with us as we share with you our points for praise and our needs for prayer.
Joining is easy. It's a source of real encouragement to us, and requires no ongoing commitment on your part whatsoever.
The cost of membership is an annual subscription fee of £25 (which you can discontinue at any time), as well as an earnest promise to pray for the work!
Fee Subsidy Fund
Although XL Holidays offer remarkable value for money, the truth is they will occasionally be out of reach to some families.
We want never to be in the position of turning children away purely on the basis of cost, and so welcome donations to be used explicitly to offer assistance in cases of need.Leaders' Subsidy Fund
All our leaders are volunteers who willingly give up of their time to serve on XL Holidays.
But volunteers or not, their accommodation needs to be paid for!
Whilst many cheerfully pay the same 'full' rate as members, for some (students in particular), this is simply not an option.
To minimise the need to offset this by raising prices, we ask for donations specifically to help fund the cost of leaders serving on XL Holidays.
Maybe you yourself are unable to join us? You can still play a huge part in the success of our programmes by making it possible for someone else to do so!Camp XL aims to be financially self-sufficient, setting a price for its programmes at a level to cover its budgeted expenses.
That said, there are two specific areas where we welcome and value financial contributions
