There's no time to be bored on Breakout! That's because we fill the days with a varied programme of activities that will appeal to just about everyone. So, if you like your holidays action-packed and wet-and-wild, you'll be right at home on Breakout. But if you're something of a creative cat and need a healthy dose of arts and crafts, then we've got that too. Whether on the sportsfield or in the art studio, kayaking on our lake or shooting on our air rifle range, everyone's going to thrive on Breakout!

As with all our programmes. we’ll also take time each day to breakout from the hectic schedule for a few minutes to look at the Bible together and explore what it is that Christians believe, and why! Whether you're a Christian or not, you'll find these short times thought-provoking and unpressured.

Because Breakout offers such a varied programme of activities and designed to suit everybody, you’ll feel right at home whether you come alone (we promise you’ll not be alone for very long!), with friends or family, or even with others from your church youthgroup.

Escape to the country

Breakout 2023 runs at Gaines Manor - Camp XL's fabulous Georgian retreat in the heart of the English countryside on the Worcester/Hereford border. Sleeping accommodation will be in one of the manor house's several bunk-bedded dorms. The house also has lots of recreational facilities - indoor and out - and several acres of grounds to enjoy.

If coming by train, you'll need to get yourself to either of Worcester's two mainline rail stations: "Worcester Shrub Hill" or "Worcester Foregate Street". Let us know what train you're on, and we'll send one of our team to pick you up for the 10 mile drive out to the countryside where our manor house sits.
